Why this is a fit
This compliance advisory director role at a financial services firm aligns with your target industry and DC-metro location (McLean, VA), and your JD plus in-house compliance experience is a credential match; however, your core expertise is ERISA/employee benefits/HIPAA rather than consumer lending/personal loans compliance (CRCM, UDAAP, Reg Z context), which is a meaningful functional mismatch for a role requiring subject-matter depth in banking products.
