Why this is a fit
This role centers on commercial litigation, data privacy disputes, and CCPA/GDPR exposure at a B2B SaaS company, while your background is concentrated in ERISA, employee benefits, and HIPAA compliance — the function overlaps only on the employment-dispute component, and the tech/data-privacy core is outside your demonstrated expertise. The seniority is a reasonable match (senior counsel level), but the gap between your benefits/regulatory specialty and the litigation-infrastructure ownership this role demands is a significant mismatch.
