Why this is a fit
This role is in-house counsel at a financial services firm in McLean/Richmond VA, which matches your location and industry targets, but the function centers on third-party procurement, vendor contracts, and outsourcing transactions—not ERISA, employee benefits, HIPAA, or healthcare regulatory work that defines your expertise; your M&A due diligence experience is adjacent but the core procurement/supplier focus is a significant mismatch with your specialization.
